I would like to start out by thanking everyone that was involved in last years fundraiser. With the support of all of you, and our great sponsors, we have been able to secure a reliable vehicle to transport everything we may need, rescue a military, law enforcement and DOD K9, provide hundreds of care packages to deployed K9 units, supply numerous police departments with much needed supplies and help out a number of disabled veterans. As you know, Save-A-Vet is currently an all volunteer organization, and we are able to do this because of you. Thank you for your continued support.

This year we will NOT be having pre-registration. Last year a number of people pre-registered, but due to conflicts with work where unable to attend. With the economy the way it is, we don't want you to spend money that you cant get back, so all registration will be done at the starting points only. The VFW has an enormous indoor hall, and we have lots of tents so the event will go on rain or shine and all makes, models and vehicles are welcome. If you wear an odd size for a t-shirt, feel free to drop us a line and we will make sure we have your size at the event. info@saveavet.org

There will be four starting points. Registration 9am-11am. Last Bike out at 11am. $20 a Rider, $10 a Passenger. Bring a K9 related item to ship overseas to deployed K9 units and receive $5.00 off registration (per person). Not riding, no problem. Come for the party. $20 at the gates. Kids 12 & Under eat FREE.

You can go to all three (3) locations above to get an extra stamp. Each of the three (3) stamps above allows you a discard at the event. Maximum of three (3).

All rides end at McHenry VFW: 3002 W. Rt. 120, McHenry, IL 60051 - Timelines will be on the back side of the cards with a map of all checkpoint locations available. This will be provided for you at the starting point of your choice.

Once you arrive at the McHenry VFW, you will present you ticket stub along with your poker card. Save-A-Vet and McHenry VFW representative will validate your ticket, check your ID and present you with the appropriate wristband and direct you to the fun. We will have two (2) poker tables set up at the event. for every 8-10 people, they will sit down and play a hand of  Poker. Each winner will advance to the next round until we have one. The brackets will be set up similar to the ones below.

As always, all food and entertainment will be included in your entry fee. All kids 12 and under eat free. This years menu will be:

First place will be $1000. All other prizes will be drawn from ticket stubs received at the end of the ride. We WILL NOT be selling additional raffle tickets. If you participate in the run, you are automatically entered in all raffles except 50/50. Additional raffles include: Sox Tickets, Cubs Tickets, Brewer Tickets and more!!!!
